Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is our school-wide approach aimed at improving the academic and behavioural outcomes of all students. PBS helps create a safe and supportive environment where positive behaviour is encouraged and celebrated. We focus on teaching students what appropriate behaviour looks like and use proactive strategies to support them in making positive choices.

Our goal is to build a positive learning culture where every student feels safe, valued, and ready to learn. Rather than simply following a list of rules, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and learning, helping them grow into respectful and responsible individuals.

At East Butler Primary School, our core expectations are:

-
Navigate Learning
-
Embrace Resilience
-
Show Respect
-
Work Responsibly

Each week our students are explicitly taught these values through classroom-based activities and they are continuously encouraged to actively demonstrate behaviours derived from these values in the classroom, during break-times and as wider community members.
Tweet Awards
To recognise students who model our expected behaviours, we present them with Tweet Awards and tiered rewards.
